Grand-prix racing sailboat

30 feet long

4,500 pounds

The Farr 30’s design was inspired by the America’s Cup. It was used in the Tour de France à la Voile where it raced successfully across the notoriously unsettled Bay of Biscay off the coast of France. The Farr 30 has established itself as an ocean going thoroughbred, safe in even the stormiest ocean conditions. The large cockpit can accommodate up to six comfortably.

‘There simply has never been a sweeter 30-footer in big breeze than the Farr 30.’

  • Halcyon took our entire office out on the Hudson for a memorable day of racing. The entire crew was patient, accommodating, and prepared for our endless questions throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better summer outing!

Patrick A., Director of Operations, Reboot

  • We are still walking the streets with a big smile. All thanks to you and your team. We had the best time. Please list us on your mailing list!

    Linda S., Private Chef, NYC

  • We wanted to send you a quick thank you since everyone at the office is still talking about the corporate racing last night. The staff was exceptionally skilled and willing to teach, however they were also good about letting us sail the races. The boats are a blast, our team’s performance was tested like never before. The competition was challenging and it was a great networking back in the loft. Thanks again and we look forward to heading out with you again!

    Eric N., Analyst, Barclay’s Capital

  • My cruise with Halcyon was terrific. The experience far exceeded my expectations – we sailed fast, learned a ton, and I got to show my friends from out of town some of my favorite NY landmarks from a totally new and unique perspective.  We finished up the evening with drinks at the loft – a perfect way to end a truly sublime Saturday evening. Thanks, Halcyon!

Christine H., Head of Trends + Cultural Intelligence @ MTV Scratch

  • Craig took us for a real sailing experience in rugged, intense conditions and it was incredible! I will ALWAYS remember the triumph the girls felt conquering those windy waters.

Sarah N., Coordinator, Conde Nast Entertainment

  • I had a blast with Halcyon Sailing. Every aspect of our experience, from the fantastic crew to the elegant sailboats, was of the highest quality. A must-do for both residents and tourists!

    Leah F., Marketing Manager, KAYAK.com

  • Craig, Simon, and the team at Halcyon are great sailors and awesome at what they do. No better way to spend an afternoon!
